Terms and Conditions Update and request for information

We are making a few changes to our Terms and Conditions. Please can you review them and acknowledge if you are happy with the changes?

Hi,

As part of the ongoing improvements to the customer experience, we regularly review our Terms and Conditions and have made some changes. These changes do not significantly affect the operation of your ISA but have been made for increased transparency and for management purposes.

Please review the information below and complete your responses by Tuesday 19th September 2023.

At StudentFinance, we know you’re trusting us with your information. It’s a big responsibility to protect it and keep you in control. It’s important that when we make any changes you understand them as clearly as possible. Here is a summary of the change, plus a question we need to ask you about funding from the European Investment Fund:

Data Sharing and Retention

  • Your data will be safely held for no longer than 5 years post the termination of your ISA unless we are required to retain it for longer for legal reasons.
  • Your data may be shared with the European Investment Fund - our trusted partners who help make ISAs possible.

European Investment Fund Support

  • Your ISA is made possible by support provided to StudentFinance by the European Investment Fund (you can find out more about the EIF here)
  • Your data may be shared with the European Investment Fund - our trusted partners who help make ISAs possible. As part of this support, we need to know whether our customers have had any other support from the EIF - please just answer yes or no.

I accept the changes in Terms and Conditions as stated above.

We also require you to confirm if you have received any other support from the European Investment Fund.
